Our senior management team possesses a collection of talent that is unmatched in the field of elder care, including geriatric care management. With an average of more than twenty years experience, these health care professionals bring to Freedom Eldercare a level of expertise that spans many elder care related professions. This includes elder law, social work, geriatric care management, long-term care, assisted living leadership, home care infusion, certified home care, psychotherapy, public policy, and program design. Many services that are now considered standard practice in elder care, including geriatric care management, were actually created by members of our highly talented senior management team.

Grew up in Elder care

Barbra S. London
MSW, LCSW, LNHA, Senior Vice President

Barbra was introduced to elder care at a young age. In fact, her mother was a pioneer in the field of long-term care, so Barbra grew up on the laps of her elderly residents. Barbra graduated from American University and received her master’s degree from Yeshiva University Wurzweiler School of Social Work. She then went on to open the first adult medical day center in the state of New Jersey.

Barbra served as the assistant executive director of a three hundred-bed long-term care facility in Northern New Jersey for over twenty years. She has also been general manager of a Marriott assisted living community, executive director of a geriatric care management firm, and an instructor at Yeshiva University Graduate School of Social Work. As a recognized expert in the field of geriatric care and services, Barbra is one of the most sought after speakers, both locally and nationally. In addition, she is a past president and founder of the New Jersey Adult Day Care Association and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Society on Aging of New Jersey.
